Deep drawing is a core metal forming process we use to transform flat sheet metal, typically steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, or brass, into high-precision, three-dimensional shapes with significant depth-to-diameter ratios. Our capabilities include single-stage and multi-stage deep drawing operations performed on mechanical and hydraulic presses ranging from 100 to 1000 tons, allowing us to produce parts with draw depths exceeding 300 mm while preserving material integrity and dimensional consistency.
We work with sheet thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 8 mm and apply optimized blank holder forces, punch speeds, and lubrication strategies (including oil-free, dry film, or chlorinated lubricants) to minimize thinning, wrinkling, and tearing. Through FEA-based process simulations and tooling design, we reduce trial-and-error iterations, enabling faster prototyping and better control over complex geometries such as flanged cups, cylindrical shells, hemispheres, boxes, or irregular contours.
All tooling is designed and maintained in-house, including carbide or nitrided dies, and can incorporate features such as draw beads, stepped profiles, or post-drawing trimming for high precision. In-process sensors monitor critical parameters such as force, displacement, and temperature which ensures each drawn part meets strict tolerance bands (±0.1 mm typical) and surface finish standards.
Our deep drawing services are ideal for structural and functional components in industries such as automotive, energy, fluid control, and appliance manufacturing. Every batch is validated under our ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 frameworks, with optional PPAP documentation and full traceability for demanding applications.
